Freud Added to Haras La Leyenda Roster
April 19, 2010 by El Caballista
Haras La Leyenda announced the addition of New York leading sire Freud to it’s 2010 Southern Hemisphere breeding roster. A full brother to leading international sire, Giant’s Causeway, and emerging Chilean-based sire Tumblebrutus, Freud will join Exchange Rate and Offlee Wild at Haras La Leyenda in Argentina.

Freud
The 12-year-old son of Storm Cat is out of the champion mare, Mariah’s Storm. Standing at Sequel Stallions in New York, Freud is the sire of 2010 Kentucky Oaks (G1) contender, Franny Freud. The bay horse is already building a reputation in South America with his son, Zeide Isaac. Out of the Twilight Agenda mare, Winning Agenda, Zeide Isaac was exported to Peru where he has become a multiple group winner including a second place finish in the Gran Premio Latinoamericano (G1) as a 4-year-old.
Freud is represented at the upcoming Ocala Breeders Sale in Florida by hip #612, a 2-year-old filly out of Unbridled Cyclone, who worked the fastest quarter mile at the under tack show – getting the distance in :20 2/5.
Freud covered 115 mares at Sequel Stallions in 2009 for a published fee of $6,500.
